Klaus began his apprenticeship as an energy systems electronics technician on August 1, 1976, and has been with our company for five decades now.
In addition to his professional duties, he is actively involved in a variety of ways on behalf of the workforce and the facility: He has been a valued member of the works council since October 1994. Furthermore, Klaus serves as a first-aid responder and workplace safety representative, has been a member of the Occupational Safety and Environment Committee since 2002, and assumes additional responsibility as the coordinator for the annual recreational activities for transit workers.
