This recognition highlights the company’s commitment to environmental protection, ethical conduct, and responsible supply chains. With this distinction, Jass (Fulda) ranks among the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.

On Saturday, a joint tree-planting initiative took place in collaboration with Saalewirtschaft e.V.. As part of the event, larches were planted to send a strong message of environmental awareness and sustainability.

We are delighted that the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony for the er:wachsen project took place on October 10, 2024, at antonius:gemeinsam Mensch. Antonius and Jass share common values and a vision for a sustainable future. At Jass, our guiding principle is: for people and nature. This motto also defines the new vegetable nursery er:wachsen.

Today, October 15, 2024, the Jass paper mill in Fulda was awarded the climate protection contract by the BMWK in Berlin during a ceremony. This will enable Jass to make the production of corrugated base paper CO2-neutral in the future and become a pioneer in the industry in Germany.

We are delighted to announce that the project “Presentation of the JassAward for voluntary work by employees” has been nominated for the 2024 Helping Hand Award. This prestigious prize, which is awarded annually by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland Affairs, is the highest award for voluntary work in civil protection.

Mr. Heil, an active member of the Weihnachtsbaumteam Kerzell e.V. for over 30 years, was honored last week with the JassAward for his outstanding volunteer work. The award ceremony took place during the company meeting and was presented by the JassAward committee, consisting of the management and the first chairman of the works council, Mr. Sayman.

The Jass company is planning to build a steam generation plant on its factory premises in Rudolstadt-Schwarza. The state-of-the-art plant will enable the process steam required for paper drying to be generated sustainably and efficiently in the future. With this planned investment, Jass is setting the course for climate-friendly paper production in Rudolstadt, thereby securing the future of the site with its 180 (direct) jobs.

This year, we once again held a celebration to mark the successful completion of the training year. Together with all trainees—those who have just completed their training and those who will be starting on August 1, 2024—as well as representatives from the HR department and management, we had a wonderful time at Pizzeria Davis.
We get better every day: to produce the finest packaging materials to benefit both people and the environment.
