“Volunteering brings joy and can be deeply meaningful, because few things are more fulfilling than making life easier and better for others.” – With these words, our Works Council Chairman Zeynel Sayman opened the tribute to this year’s award recipient.
The Jass Award honors and promotes the voluntary commitment of our employees. All those who dedicate their free time to charitable causes or associations are invited to apply. The winner receives not only an artistically designed trophy but also a donation of €2,500 for the supported organization.
This year, Dr. Marietta Jass-Teichmann had the pleasure of presenting the award at our Fulda site to Marcel Huder. He was recognized for his dedication to Rehkitzrettung Osthessen e.V., an association committed to protecting native wildlife. In the early morning hours—often before sunrise—volunteers comb through fields and meadows to locate and rescue injured or endangered wild animals. Their mission is to preserve biodiversity in our region, fully aligned with our motto: for people and nature.
We warmly congratulate Marcel Huder and extend our heartfelt thanks to all colleagues whose volunteer work enriches our society.
The next Jass Award will be presented in November at our Schwarza site—once again celebrating the voluntary commitment of our employees.
