EcoVadis has awarded Jass the gold medal again this year. The Fulda site received the award for the second time in a row, while the Rudolstadt/Schwarza site has now also been certified for the first time. This means that both plants are among the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide.
The renewed award recognizes Jass' consistent commitment to sustainability – from environmental protection and ethical conduct to responsible supply chains.
EcoVadis' assessment is based on 21 criteria in the areas of environment, labor rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. More than 150,000 companies worldwide have already been analyzed.
The EcoVadis rating is based on internationally recognized standards such as the principles of the UN Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and the ISO 26000 standard. It not only provides a well-founded analysis of sustainability performance, but also shows concrete approaches for further improvement.
