The trainee excursions on May 12 and 30, 2023, gave trainees from the Fulda and Rudolstadt/Schwarza sites the opportunity to explore their sites in depth and engage in mutual exchange. Under the heading “The same, yet very different,” the special features of the two sites were highlighted. The topics ranged from different apprenticeships to the technical features of the respective paper machines and the various grammages of corrugated base paper. The spectrum ranged from different apprenticeship professions and technical features of the respective paper machines to different grammages of corrugated base papers. The excursions promoted cooperation and created a better understanding of the working methods at both locations.
